Happy Wednesday Reader, I'm back from a much-needed, soul-fueling visit to New Orleans where I saw friends who are like family and supported my husband in his musical exploration as a drummer. It was exactly the break that I needed and I'm overflowing with gratitude for every beignet and brass band that crossed my path! I took the week truly OFF and barely touched my phone other than to take a few snaps... ...and allowed myself to become fully immersed in the sounds of the city. I was reminded of my interview with Roshni Dattani, the host of The Sonic Wealth Podcast. And it got me reflecting on something I’ve never really said out loud in my business before... ❤️ I’m a musician. I have been since I was very young. Music has shaped my entire life. And yet for years (as in the entire 15 years I ran the juice bar and wellness coaching company), I kept that part of myself in a separate box. It was almost like my creativity on stage couldn’t sit at the same table as my strategy in business. But here’s what this conversation helped me realize: Your creative self is not separate from your CEO self. Your sensitivity, your rhythm, your expression - these are not “extras.” They are literally the soul of your brand. Roshni and I went deep on origins, vibrational alignment, self-trust, and what it really means to build wealth on your own terms.
