Happy Sunday , I hope you're relaxing and enjoying your weekend so far. My goal is to get in the ocean at Rockaway beach later today, but first (in case you're working on your project), I wanted to share some useful templates. If you listened to Episode 2 of the Digital Product Blueprint this week, then you know your homework was to do a little audience research. The best step you can take before you start creating any digital asset is: Talk to the people you're creating it for. One of my clients did this last week, before announcing her first-ever mentorship program, and the results showed clearly, without a doubt, that 80% of her warmest leads preferred a specific style of teaching. She was able to make an informed decision about how to deliver her work, and it came directly from the mouths of her likely buyers. I have seen dozens of entrepreneurs make the mistake of building something based on assumptions instead of conversations. Then when it comes time to sell it, it's not what their audience wants. 👉🏻 A few thoughtful responses can save you weeks of creating the wrong thing. So with that in mind, it's never too late to do this step. Here are three templates you can copy directly and use this week. Make them your own by adding your specific stories and personalized greetings. 1) Email
Subject: Can I ask you one quick question?
Hi!
I'm working on a new resource for people who want help with [problem you solve], and I'd love your input.
What's the biggest challenge you're facing right now when it comes to [your niche topic]?
Just hit reply with one sentence. I read every response, and your answer will genuinely help me create something that's actually useful.
Thank you!
2) Instagram StoriesSlide 1 (pic of you smiling) I'm creating something new... Can I ask you a quick question? (arrow sticker that points to the next slide) Slide 2 (Question Sticker over any image) What's the biggest challenge you're facing right now when it comes to [your topic or problem you solve]? Slide 3 (Personal Thank You) (Use any personalized pic of something you LOVE or love doing in your everyday life.) [Thing you love doing] Tax as a Big Thank You in advance for helping me! Example 1: (pic of you smiling at the beach) Epic Sunday Beach Vibes Tax as a Thank YOU for helping me! Example 2: (pic of you walking your dog) Happy Puppy Tax as a Thank You for helping me! Next Step: Make sure to DM anyone who answers your poll and invite them to learn more! 3) Threads (or FB/LinkedIn)I'm conducting a little audience research this week. If you're a [ideal client], what's one challenge you've been trying to solve lately when it comes to [your topic or problem you solve]? I'd love to hear your perspective in the comments or my DMs. Pro tip: Don't ask people what they want you to create. Ask them what they're actually struggling with, right now, as it pertains to how you help. The answers will help clarify what your digital product should solve. We're going to start building, but first I'll share something that completely changed the way I think about digital assets: There's a big difference between attracting people who want free resources... and those who actually become paying clients. Before we build anything, let's make sure it's aligned with the right people. It's a small shift that can completely change the way you build. Can't wait to share it with you on Tuesday! Until then, I hope you have a wonderful Sunday and great start to your week, xo, Deborah PS. I am loving the emails and questions - keep them coming. It's helping me shape the next episode as I see where people are getting caught up!! And if you're excited about your project but want more support, please feel free to message me with specific questions or sign up for a VIP spot and get hands-on help for your work! |

Hey , Episode 2 of the Digital Product Blueprint series is now live! It starts with one of my favorite business lessons: Don't design your digital product around what's happening today. Inside this episode, we'll cover: 🌱 Why every digital product should create a transformation for both your customer and your business 🌱 Simple audience research you can do this week 🌱 The workbook exercises that will help you...
Good morning 🌞 I need to clear something up today.. A few days ago I posted one of those Instagram trends where people pretend they're preparing for a Netflix special. Mine was called: "All Business Skills Can Be Taught Using Gardening Analogies." You can watch it here. I thought it was OBVIOUSLY a joke. I mean... I'm standing in my garden loooking all messy in my workout leggings, with an incredibly serious face... pretending cameras are following me around... clearly preparing for my...
Anyone else here an official card-carrying member of the "Clean Your Plate" Club? 🙋🏼♀️ You were desperate to get up from the dinner table and run outside to play tag or Ghostie in the Graveyard with the neighborhood kids... ...but your mom said, "Don't you dare move a hair on your head until you've eaten ALL your peas." 😂 Without unpacking all the emotional baggage that can probably be traced back to that exact moment... I'd like to officially go on record and say: Being forced to finish...
