Hey Reader! I hope you never get what I just had. It wasn't Covid, but some weird chest congestion thingie that just lingered for days with no other symptoms. Just enough ick to make me cough non-stop but not enough to be fully "sick" and get to opt out of work. 🤪 Fortunately the fall foliage in upstate NY has given me a lot to ponder on the topic of being unapologetically alive. (cute pic of me and my hubby on a hike last week before things went south) One of my goals is to help you create easy, aligned sales. After many years self-employed, I've seen it all, made a lot of money, lost some money, invested in and tested just about every system and funnel out there. I've gotten great at online sales, however... There was a season in my business (not too long ago), where I was doing all the things - posting daily, sending emails, jumping on sales calls - and still not making consistent income. I'd have a good week and then a long dry spell. I'd have what I thought was a totally fire sales call and then crickets... The worst: I'd have people say YES to my face that they wanted to work with me and then... poof 💨 - GHOSTED. I accept that this is a part of doing business, but the goal is to build something sustainable. So for that reason, I poured over the data, asked the hard questions and aimed to improve. Here’s what I finally realized: The problem wasn’t my funnel, my price point or my offer. The actual problem? My sales energy was out of alignment. I looked at my words and behaviors and saw clearly where I was screwing it up. Once I fixed those pieces of my sales process, everything shifted. Creating sales felt easy, clients felt like a natural “yes,” and I finally started hitting consistent $5k months and then soon after that it was an easy hop to $10K months. Now that I have done that work, I can't unsee it. I catch myself before any sales experience and check for these sneaky, leaky things.
