Back in January, I went to a podcast conference and met a woman named Christina Vidovich. We clicked immediately and started plotting dreamy collaborations. I was rolling solo, so the "new conference friend" vibes were welcome. Christina is the founder of Women Getting Visible, and as we started talking about our work, we realized there was a LOT of overlap between what she teaches about visibility and what I teach about messaging, marketing and sales. It could have ended there, but we stayed in touch. I met her business partner Amy (another inspiring creator), we swapped podcast interviews and kept brainstorming. Then things started to shift. We kept saying, "Yes, let's do that!", to new ideas. In June, I flew to Minneapolis and spoke at their Women Getting Visible event, which connected me to a whole new network of women entrepreneurs. Next, on September 16th, Christina will join me in Brooklyn for my next live messaging workshop (at my loft!). Then in October, I’ll be speaking at their flagship Women Getting Visible conference in Washington, D.C. And in January, we’ll both be back at Podfest in Orlando where we met, but this time sharing the stage for a panel conversation about visibility. 🤯 None of that existed 9 months ago. And THAT is exactly why I wanted to share today’s podcast episode with you. Because visibility isn’t just about posting more content. It’s about letting people know who you are. Getting into rooms where you find your people and starting conversations. It's learning to talk about your work in a way that feels grounded and aligned. And it's allowing yourself to be seen long enough for the right people to recognize what you bring to the table. One of my favorite things Christina says in our conversation is: Own your genius. Trust yourself. And tell people about it. Simple. And also, like everyone else - I occasionally find this terrifying and need to practice. 😂 In our convo, we talk about:
If you're doing great work and wondering why more people aren't finding you... This one is especially for you. 🎧 Listen now: #136 - Own Your Genius: Visibility, Confidence & Being Seen with Christina Vidovich And maybe give yourself one visibility assignment this week: Put yourself in one room you haven't been in before. There are so many free networking communities you could pop into and just meet new people! You genuinely have no idea where one conversation might lead. xo, PS. If you can join us at the Women Getting Visible conference in DC this October, use the code DC26SPEAKERGUEST for 20% off any ticket option. RSVP https://luma.com/fke0lvw6 PSS. I've started to book spots for the Magnetic Messaging workshop on Sept. 16th in Brooklyn and there are only 10, so please give me shout if you're curious or know you want to come. This is an intimate space, and a 3 hour high-touch workshop for dialing in sales messaging. (Yes, there will be nourishing food to sustain us!) This is perfect for women leaders who want to polish their message to pitch yourself for 2027 events, crystalize your sales messaging for a fall launch, or level up your online sales strategy. Happy Sunday and welcome to this cozy (but also kinda sparky) corner of the internet. I have started sending out emails on the occasional Sunday. Hello friend and happy Tuesday! Whether you listened to the Digital Product Blueprint series this summer or not, here's what I hope you take away from all this content I made about it: One long-term digital asset can transform your business. Of course, the point of the series is to help you be strategic, rather than reactionary. The last thing we want is to create something in a rush, just to start all over again next season when there's a brand new trend. I spent the three days almost...
Hi Reader, Over the past few weeks, I've had several people say some variation of: "I started listening to your Digital Product series, but I'm not caught up yet." Well, guest what my friend? That's completely okay. In fact, it's exactly why I built it this way. I know that a project will only get done when you have the capacity to complete the tasks, so this was never meant to be a six-week sprint. It's designed to be a resource you can return to any time you're ready to create a new digital...
