Before Your Fall Launch, Do This

Happy Sunday, my friend!

Whether you're indulging in deep summer heat and an abundance fresh farm-stand veggies, or you're already preparing for your kids' back-to-school days, this is a powerful week to plan ahead.

Personally, I am celebrating three things.

One, I made a carrot cake last night with carrots from my own garden and thought I won the British Baking Show. πŸ˜‚

Two, I get to celebrate my 4th wedding anniversary on Thursday by going for a hike with my husband, and then staying in a lovely Catskills BnB with a sauna!

And most pivotal, I got so excited to take a few days totally OFF, that I pre-batched content all the way through Labor Day!

The feeling of being so crystal clear about what you're doing and scheduling your marketing content for a full month ahead is incomparable.

But I didn't just plan out sales events and promotional dates.

I planned my strategy.

And if you are launching a program or 1:1 offer this fall, I want to help you to check ONE thing before you start creating promotional content.

It's a thing I've become quite familiar with.

I know that getting this wrong can make you feel like you're in some sort of Twilight Zone, where you're waving your arms around on the internet...

but somehow you're invisible.

But getting this right can shift your entire experience.

You can go from saying:

β€œI show up and do everything right, but still nobody is buying.”

To your version of:

So, what's the ONE thing these entrepreneurs cleared up to help them go from unsure about how to sell their program, to selling it out in just a few weeks or months?

Positioning.

This week we're talking about how to position your work and why it matters.

Maybe you've already blocked off β€œFALL LAUNCH WEEK” on your calendar.

You know what you want to sell.

You're pulling out Google Docs with half-written emails and saving Reel ideas that you can test.

But when you sit down to write your sales copy, suddenly you freeze up.

It's like you're standing in front of an overstuffed closet saying, "I have NOTHING to wear!"

Decision fatigue sets in fast.

Does this headline make sense?

Will the right people find this blog post?

Should I lead with this offer...or focus on the other one?

Why does it take six paragraphs to explain something that makes perfect sense inside my head?

⛳️ That's the part I want you to pay attention to.

All the launch prep in the world won't matter if your ideal clients don't understand why they need your help.

Whereas, when you position your offer correctly, your ideal clients see it as THE solution they're after.

Personally, I'd rather figure that out in August than three days into a September launch. 😎

I know this cycle well and I've been helping entrepreneurs clear the pathway to simple sales for many years, especially as they plan for a new launch of an existing service.

So, this August I'm opening a few spots for my Messaging & Revenue Reset.

This is for you if you're heading into fall ready to SELL, but some part of your marketing feels like a heavier lift than it should.

Maybe:

  • Your offers are good, but you're not sure which one to lead with.
  • Your business has evolved, but your messaging hasn't caught up.
  • You're creating content, but it's not consistently turning into inquiries.

Or you're getting ready to launch and thinking:

β€œI know this is good. I need OTHER people to know it's good.”

πŸ‘†πŸ» That's a positioning problem.

Inside the Messaging & Revenue Reset, we'll look at your offers, messaging, positioning, customer journey and revenue opportunities over the course of 3 weeks and figure out where the disconnect is before you spend another season marketing confusion

β†’ Get details on the Messaging & Revenue Reset

And timing is perfect because Tuesday's new episode of The Digital Product Blueprint is Step 5:

POSITION.

I'm teaching you how to position what you're selling around the problem your ideal client wants solved right now, so instead of scrolling past, they think:

β€œOMG. That's exactly what I need.”

I'll send you the episode Tuesday.

Until then, ask yourself this:

If I launched tomorrow, would my audience immediately understand why they need my help?

If you're not sure...

Let's get it cleared up before fall.

xo,
Deborah

P.S. Message & Revenue reset sessions can be booked now, and first available audits and strategy sessions begin will on the week of August 17th. I genuinely only have space for about three new clients (no false urgency, it's real!), so if you'd love help nailing your fall launch, this might be your time to get ahead! Get details here.

Be honest Reader, How many times have you downloaded a free resource and said: "I'll watch it later." "I'll go through the workbook later." "I'll do it later." Sure you will. 😎 Right after you finally organize the 600 loose photos you've been meaning to put into albums since the 1990's. πŸ˜‚ The LAST thing you want is for somebody to download your lead magnet, or freebie or digital asset and think: "I'll do this later" Which is why getting someone to opt-in is only the beginning of the journey!...

Happy Sunday Reader, I've been sort of ghosting my social media these last few weeks, but you may have seen a pic here or there of me hopping a bus or a train like it's hot-girl travel summer, so just to be clear... I am not at all on vacation. πŸ˜‚ In fact, I've mostly been working, while also showing up hard for my family. My older sister broke her leg. My husband's sister had to clear out an entire house. And my mom, who lives in a memory care facility, has needed a lot of extra advocacy...

Episode 132 of Mindset to Market - the Digital Product Blueprint

This week's episode of the Digital Product Blueprint series is live! We're officially at Step 3: Build. No matter what you're working on, there's a juicy lesson at the start of the episode that completely changed how I think about lead magnets. You see, when I first started designing digital assets for client attraction, I believed that the more information I gave away, the more people would trust me. So I created bigger workbooks and meatier webinars.I always added templates or a guide to...
