New episode! 🎧 #116: Go Confidently Hey Reader, I was sitting in the lobby of the Renaissance Orlando when I spotted a woman I had just seen speak on stage the day before. Her talk was about how to best prepare for a project (in this case a podcast). Now, I consider myself to be a *very* prepared person... (not going to use the term OCD, but let's just say I have an EXTREMELY well organized Tupperware cabinet.) But as I listened to Julie Delucca-Collins share tips on how to best prep, I found myself furiously scribbling notes. Why? Because she wasn't just sharing hot takes, she was connecting each action to how it builds something we can all use more of: Confidence. I called out to her in the lobby and thanked her for her talk. Cut to an hour later and we'd exchanged cell phone numbers and planned several ways to collaborate, including today's episode where Julie joined me to share some of her best tips on how being prepared helps run her business. One of my biggest takeaways from our chat is that you don't need confidence to get started. Rather, confidence gets built after you take action. So we talked about what actually creates confidence in your business: → Preparation And how waiting to feel “ready”? That’s actually the thing keeping you stuck. ✨ Listen to the full episode here: Episode #116: Go Confidently: Business Systems & Being Prepared with Julie Delucca-Collins As you know, I am committed to helping you simplify, get clear, and take messy action to grow your biz, and this convo will help you do all three! If you enjoy the podcast and you have an extra minute, please take a moment to rate it! This helps me get it in the ears of more entrepreneurs and it will be so greatly appreciated. Now, tell me: What helps you build confidence? Do you have a tip or trick for getting prepared? I'd love to hear them. Hit reply and share it! xo, Deborah |

Hey Reader, What has 19 years self-employed taught me about sales? That when you sell people what they actually want, in a seamless experience - they buy. Period. Regardless of the economy, the industry, or what the market is doing. So, as I was reviewing a funnels for two very different clients last week... I noticed the same mistakes coming up. Both clients have excellent offers, decent traffic and ongoing visibility. But the messaging along their customer journey was not fully aligned....
TLDR: Check these 6 steps to Spring clean your biz! Hey Reader, Last week I nearly flamed out when I spent over 20 minutes searching for a single document for a client. It was a strategy doc for her micro-launch and as she patiently awaitied her next step... I found myself swimming through hundreds of templates and Google docs and half-started content plans... Twenty. Minutes. Clicking through folders. Opening random files. Checking my downloads. Checking Google Drive (again). Going back to...
Hey Reader, I admit it. I'm a garden junky. If we're friends on Instagram then you may have already seen my summer marketing videos shot from a phone, propped up on a tripod, live-streaming while I'm planting seeds. I love getting my hands in the soil just as the sun is just coming up and knowing that those early morning sessions will bear literal fruit as the season progresses. And over the past 5 years it's hit me: Gardening and entrepreneurship have a lot in common. You plant something...
