Hi Reader, Back at St. Mary's Catholic school (where I attended pre-K through 7.5th grades*), there was a point each year when one of two things happened. Either your grey and white plaid skirt still fit... ...or you got sent to stand in the line. A nun sat in the middle of the lobby with a long felt tape, and anyone who had outgrown their uniform lined up to be measured in front of basically the whole school.
