This past weekend something magical happened. I spent almost every waking hour immersed in creativity. I listened to live music, watched friends perform, and then stepped on stage with my own band to play a local gig. By Monday morning... Instead of staring at my computer wondering how to get back into work mode, my ideas were flowing. I was filled with creative energy and excited to connect with clients! This reminded me that creativity isn't a reward for getting my work done. It's actually a really powerful business asset. It's the fuel that helps me do my best work. That joyful reclaiming of creative flow spilled over into this week's podcast, where I'm sharing 5 practical ways creativity can transform your sales, including:
Here's one tip you can use today: Before you create your next piece of content, ask yourself: "What happened in my life this week that taught me something my audience needs to hear?" Start with that story. And then watch what happens! Instead of straining to find a relevant piece of content, the lessons will naturally follow. 🎧 Listen to the new episode here: Ep. 128 - 5 Ways Creativity Can Transform Your Sales I'd love to hear what creative practice fills your well. Hit reply and let me know. Cheering you on as always! Deborah PS. One wildly full circle moment from the music festival was when an old friend from Brooklyn spotted me, and as he approached I was delighted to see he was wearing a t-shirt I had hand printed myself (almost 20 years ago) for the very first iteration of my first business (the juice truck that turned into a city-wide catering expedition). Such a blast from the past! I mean look at that cheesy smile on my face! LOL PSS. Inside this episode I shared an invitation to my $7 mini-course called Soul-Aligned Systems. The entire purpose of that easy-to-consume series is to help you think creatively about YOUR signature offers so you can make sure they stand out. I had a legitimate 'A-ha' moment while recording this week's podcast. (Should it be 'ah-ha'? [makes note: Google it later]) Anyways, remember those Magic Eye fractal posters from the 90s? At first it just looked like a confusing mess of colors. Then suddenly your eyes adjusted and you couldn't unsee the dolphin.
