Q: What should I DO to make sales?

[TLDR: I made you a Checklist! πŸ‘€]

Hey Reader,

I do 2 things to support my clients*:

1) Help them turn their dreams into an operational business with recurring revenue system. πŸŽ‰πŸ€βš™οΈ

2) Help them make weekly/monthly sales πŸ†πŸš€πŸ™Œ

*Of course there are bazillion and fifty tiny little things that fall into those buckets but I can't list them all in an email.

Here's what Monday morning looks like for people in both categories:

You sit down at the desk, knowing you need to market your business this week.

You immediately wonder:

But what should I actually DO?

Post on Instagram? Reel or carousel?

Send an email?

Follow up with people?

Try that short punchy Threads formula?

And before you know it, you're lost in a Canva creation and haven't talked to a single potential client.

Be honest - is this you too? πŸ˜‚

Over the summer, I asked my audience (including current and former clients) about their biggest challenges with marketing and sales.

More than 80% told me:

I just want to know what I should be doing every week to make sales.

So you guessed it - that's exactly what I'm talking about on this week's episode of the Mindset to Market Podcastℒ️.

Inside Episode #138, I'm breaking down the 5 marketing + sales activities I believe every solopreneur should be doing weekly to generate leads, nurture potential clients, follow up, make offers and figure out what's actually working.

And because I don't want you to just listen and think, β€œCool, that makes sense”...

I made you a checklist.

πŸ‘‰ DOWNLOAD THE FREE WEEKLY SALES CHECKLIST

Print it. Keep it next to your desk. Pull it out every Monday when you start wondering what the hell you're supposed to be doing.

I even included my 30-Minute Sales Sprint for those days when you need to stop overthinking and just get into action.

(First instruction: Close Canva. πŸ˜‚)

You can listen to this short episode here [23 mins]:

β€‹πŸŽ§ LISTEN: What Should I Be Doing Weekly to Make Sales?

Here's the bigger idea I want you to take with you this week:

Doing marketing activities is not the same thing as having a sales system.

But getting consistent with the RIGHT activities is a very good place to start.

Go grab your checklist and let's get to work.

xo,
Deborah

a man jumping off a ship when he finds out that he's going to have to create content to run his business

A good friend of mine just graduated from a three-year Yoga Therapy program at Kripalu. Three years learning how to deeply help people. And what was the BIG conversation among her graduating class? They're all dreading having to "sell" their services. β€œYou mean... now we have to become content creators if we want to have viable businesses?” My stomach knotted up listening to her. I could FEEL the collective dread. πŸ˜‚ Because they want to practice Yoga Therapy. They want to help people. They...

A woman gazing out over a sunset on a lake dreaming about the four foundational pillars of her online business success.

[TLDR - Foundations is getting a Glow-Up! My 5 pillars below] When I first learned how to build online courses, I had just come off more than a decade of running a plant-based catering company. To be clear: I was NOT the chef. I was the CEO, CFO, marketing department, operations director, occasional delivery driver and person most likely to be frantically texting someone at 6am because we were short three cases of kale. 😰 But I knew that business inside and out. So, when we closed, I decided...
